Gio Goes to the CANDY PLANET! This is the first in the series of new and fun filled stories by Steve Morrone and Imagine Factory, designed as a symbolic, cautionary tale to discourage kids from eating too much sugar and candy.

In this episode we find our little buddy Gio in the middle of another of his crazy daydreams. He gazes in wonderment into the picture on a box of his favorite breakfast treat, Candy Planet Cereal and grocery shopping with mommy has just become an adventure in space. His spaceship takes flight and he races to fend off the Vegetarian Army in an effort to protect his beloved Candy Planet. As he does battle against the carrots, the broccoli, the spinach and the evil Brussels sprouts, he is suddenly captured by the enemy queen... Well, in reality mom just came back from the deli counter to find Gio throwing the vegetables out of the grocery cart and on to the floor. Looks like little Gios big imagination has got him in trouble again.

Gio and the Candy Planet is a tale that promotes healthy eating habits and exercise as Gio discovers that living on a planet made of candy can go from a dream come true to a true belly ache and that the Vegetables as well as the rest of the major food groups arent bad guys after all.
